User settings
Most components require user settings, e. g. to tell the application where to find the required information. These user settings are stored in XML files, which may be edited directly with a text editor. However it’s usually more convenient to use the ‘User Settings Editor’ which can be found under the ‘File’ menu of each application that requires settings.

- Edit Property Descriptors (only available for developers)
Opens the Property Descriptors editor. - Edit User Settings
Opens the User Settings editor.
